Short version: We collect only what we need to deliver your project (name, contact, course details). We never sell your data. We use it to talk to you, deliver your order, and improve our service.
1. What we collect
When you contact us or place an order, we collect:
- Contact details — name, WhatsApp number, email.
- Academic details — your college, course, year, roll number (used to customise your project report).
- Payment details — handled by our payment partners (Razorpay/UPI). We do not store your card or bank credentials.
- Communication content — messages you send us via WhatsApp, email, or our contact form.
2. How we use it
- To deliver and customise your project package.
- To respond to your queries and support requests.
- To process payments and issue receipts.
- To send occasional service updates (you can opt out anytime).
3. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share information only with:
- Payment processors (Razorpay), to process transactions.
- Cloud / file-hosting providers (e.g. Google Drive), to deliver your project files.
- Authorities, when legally required.
4. Cookies
Our website uses minimal cookies — essential session cookies and basic analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) to understand traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser without affecting your ability to order.
5. Security
We protect your data with industry-standard practices: HTTPS, password-protected systems, and access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to reduce risk.
6. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing privacy@engineeringcollegeprojects.com. We respond within 30 days.
7. Data retention
We retain your contact and order data for up to 3 years for support and tax purposes, after which it is permanently deleted unless you request earlier deletion.
